Conference Highlights

Thursday Evening 40th Anniversary Celebration (Your badge is your pass)

NCTIES will host our 40th Anniversary Celebration! Come to join us in Exhibit Hall A at 5:00 p.m. to enjoy light h’orderves, (imported/domestic cheese, seasonal fruit & berries, fresh vegetable crudite, honey-ginger glazed turkey, 40th anniversary cake and wine). If you are a wine connoisseur, don’t forget to bring your wine ticket to make a toast with us as we chart our future and honor our past.

Thursday Evening Cruising Raleigh Restaurants

On Thursday evening, March 4, we will be offering our attendees the opportunity to have additional "excursions" as they explore downtown Raleigh via the FREE R-line bus system. Buses run every 10-12 minutes until 2 a.m. Attendees and vendors can access the bus at the front of the convention center. A "smartcard" for restaurant discounts will be available for NCTIES attendees and vendors thanks to the Greater Raleigh Convention & Visitors Bureau. This "open evening" will provide an excellent opportunity for cruise travelers and exhibitors to network as they chart their future.

Cruise Ship Awards

NCTIES presents annual grants, outstanding educator awards, scholarships, and other individual and group recognitions. Presentations will occur during the luncheon on Thursday, March 3rd, 11:30 a.m.—1:30 p.m., so please make plans to join us in our efforts to honor those contributing so much to the advancement of media and technology in education.
